Setting up UNIX Hosts
MOXA recommends the FreeRADIUS server for UNIX users. FreeRADIUS is the premiere open
source RADIUS server, and is well within the top 5 RADIUS servers in use world-wide. It is
suitable for embedded systems with small amounts of memory, to systems with millions of users.
It is fast, flexible, configurable, and supports more authentication protocols than many commercial
servers.
The server is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL), which means that it is free to
download and install. FreeRADIUS can be downloaded from the following website:
