Setting Value Notes Necessity

None/local/server None: Authentication is not required.
local: Check the ID stored in the
User_table (defined under the SERVER
MENU). You will need to configure the
user’s information later in this chapter.
Server: Check the ID with the
external RADIUS server. Refer to
Appendix C for RADIUS installation
information.

Configuring SLIPD/SLIP Mode
Moxa CN2510 supports SLIP (Serial Line Internet Protocol), and SLIPD (for Dial-in services
only).
1. Move the cursor to the Mode column for the port and then press Enter.
