High Power Output Capability that Exceeds Standards

Moxa's PoE/PoE+ products are designed to power up industrial network

devices, such as wireless access points and IP cameras, with minimal

installation effort and cost. In addition to a complete PoE/PoE+ portfolio,

Moxa also offers innovative 36W/60W solutions that go beyond standard

IEEE 802.3af/at limits. The higher power output easily supports power-hungry

devices, such as PTZ cameras with wipers and heaters, without a separate

power cable.

Optimized Cost-Effectiveness

As an alternative to expensive fiber cables for long-distance communications,

Moxa’s IEX-402 DSL Ethernet extender is a cost-effective solution that

leverages existing copper wire infrastructures for faster and efficient network

deployment. The IEX-402 allows point-to-point Ethernet extension over copper

wires up to 8 km or 15.3 Mbps using G.SHDSL standards, and up to 3 km or

100 Mbps with VDSL2 standards.

Smart Displays for Easy Management

No special expertise is needed to manage the IEX-402,

whether remotely or on-site. A full range of smart LED

indicators on the front panel conveys diagnostic information

about the IEX-402 at a glance. The device can also be

remotely accessed using a web interface that can display a

virtual device panel outlining device status.

Reliability and Availability

With a built-in Link Fault Pass-Through feature, the IEX-402

will automatically disable the Ethernet connection to prevent

data transmissions along a disconnected path when a DSL/

Ethernet link goes down. Interoperable with Turbo Ring/Turbo

Chain switches, the IEX-402 can trigger fast fault recovery when

a port connection fails. Extreme temperature tolerance and

dual power input make the IEX-402 a reliable solution for critical

industrial applications.
